Astigiano, nasce artisticamente da una formazione classica, si diploma infatti all’istituto d’arte di Asti e in seguito all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Torino.
Amante della pittura soprattutto figurativa, la affronta con scrupolo e attenzione fino a farla diventare la sua professione.
Da oltre 20 anni utilizza le capacità tecniche, acquisite nel corso degli anni a servizio della decorazione d’interni.
Ecco quindi soffitti, decorazioni di locali, trompe l’oeil e finti affreschi realizzati soprattutto tra Torino, Milano e le località più prestigiose della Liguria, della Costa Azzurra e della Costiera Amalfitana.
Ha insegnato tecniche pittoriche in passato in diversi istituti artistici e partecipato a numerose mostre personali e collettive.
Parallelamente a una pittura più intima che lo porta a perlustrare l’animo umano, alla ricerca di chiarezze interiori, porta avanti da sempre una linea più classica, costituita prevalentemente da paesaggi di rara intensità realistica e poetica.
Passa con disinvoltura dalle nebbiose colline del Monferrato, sua terra d’origine, ai più nitidi e colorati scorci della Costiera Amalfitana, sua terra d’adozione.
Dall’acquerello, più delicato, alle più innovative tecniche materiche realizzate con corde e oro, l’intento è unico: cogliere a pieno e con intensità, la magia, le atmosfere e i luminosi cromatismi della divina Costa D’Amalfi.

Luca Mancini was born in the provinces of Asti, in the north west of Italy. He obtained his High School qualification at the Arts School in Asti and he successfully ended the Fine Arts School Academy in Turin.
He was keen on painting, particularly on the figurative arts: he dealt with it meticulously and carefully, this is the reason why he decided to become a professional painter.
He has been using his technical skills for more than twenty years. He had acquired them over the years working as an interior designer.
He worked on ceilings, decoration of buildings, trompe l’oeil, and fake frescos mainly made among Turin, Milan and the most exclusive places in Liguria, the French Riviera and the Amalfi Coast.
In the last few years, he taught pictorial techniques in different Arts Schools. He took part in many individual and collective exhibitions.
He investigated both a more intimate painting connected to the human soul, looking for inner revelations, and a more classical outline, mainly made up of landscapes characterized by a rare realistic and poetic intensity.
He easily shifts from the foggy Monferrato hills, his homeland, to the more limpid and coloured patches of the Amalfi Coast, his adoption land.
From the finer watercolours to the most state-of-the-art material techniques made of ropes and gold, his purpose is unique: trying to catch with its greater intensity the charm, the atmospheres and the bright chromatisms of the divine Amalfi Coast.
